Buying Tickets
Browse events, select your preferred show and ticket type, and follow the checkout steps. Pay securely via M-Pesa — your e-ticket is delivered instantly after payment confirmation.
After a successful M-Pesa payment, your e-ticket with a unique QR code will be sent to your email address. You can also view and download it from your TickooPlug account under "My Tickets".
Yes. During checkout you can choose "Buy for someone else" and enter the recipient's name and email — the ticket will be issued in their name and sent to them directly.
Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds are subject to the event organizer's refund policy, which is displayed on the event page. If an event is cancelled by the organizer, TickooPlug will process a full refund automatically. For other cases, contact us at info@tickooplug.co.ke.
If an event is postponed, your ticket remains valid for the new date. The organizer will communicate the new date and you will be notified via email. You can contact us if you need assistance.
Event Organizers
Register as an organizer on TickooPlug, submit your application, and once approved you can create events, set ticket types, define pricing, and go live immediately. M-Pesa payouts are sent directly to your registered number.
TickooPlug charges a platform fee per ticket sold. The exact commission rate is agreed during organizer onboarding and is displayed transparently in your organizer dashboard. There are no hidden fees.
Payments & Security
Yes. All payments are processed through Safaricom's M-Pesa STK Push — you authorize the payment directly on your phone. TickooPlug never stores your M-Pesa PIN or personal payment details.
