Pricing FAQ

Are there any setup or monthly fees?
No. TickooPlug is completely free to join and list events. We only charge a commission on tickets sold — if you sell nothing, you pay nothing.
When and how do I receive my payout?
Payouts are processed after your event, directly to your M-Pesa registered number. You can view your pending and completed payouts in your organizer dashboard at any time.
Does the attendee pay any fees on top of the ticket price?
By default, the commission is absorbed by the organizer from the ticket price. Organizers can optionally pass the service fee to the buyer at checkout — this is configurable per event.
What about free events?
Free events have zero commission. You can list and manage free events on TickooPlug at no cost whatsoever — great for RSVPs and guestlist management.
How do I qualify for the Pro rate?
Apply when registering as an organizer or contact our team. Pro rates are available to established promoters with a track record of regular events.
What are M-Pesa transaction charges?
M-Pesa charges are Safaricom's standard STK Push transaction fees. These are separate from TickooPlug's commission and are clearly shown at checkout. They are typically minimal relative to ticket price.
